Message from Doctor Andrew Ndamira Medical Director, HICH Miss Tourism Uganda, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Uganda Tourism Board are organizing a charity run in Mbarara on Saturday June 27th, 2015. All proceeds from the run are to be donated back to the community; as soon as the organizers learnt that Holy Innocents Children’s Hospital will soon construct a surgical theater, they offered to give all proceeds to HICH. Everybody who can make it to Mbarara on that day is encouraged to participate in this run physically; the longest category will be 10 km.

I apologize that this notice may have come too short for our friends in USA and NI to participate but this partnership was announced to us only last week. We are very grateful to the organizer of Miss Tourism Uganda, Ms Stella Bamu Rugunda for this tremendous gesture; she is born in Mbarara but lives and works in Entebbe.
